Pastor Jamie L. Ulrich is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Theology from Thiel College and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University. She developed a sense of call to ministry through four summers on staff at Camp Lutherlyn, campus ministry at Thiel College, and a year of service with Lutheran Volunteer Corps at the ELCA Churchwide Office in Chicago. Pastor Jamie is passionate about making room at the table for others and sharing the good news of God’s love with the world.
On June 18, 2023, St. Luke’s extended the offer to be Pastor Jamie’s “first call.” Pastor Jamie gratefully accepted that offer and was ordained as a minister of Word and Sacrament at her home congregation in Pittsburgh on July 30, 2023. She began her ministry at St. Luke’s on August 1, 2023.
In her free time, Pastor Jamie enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, playing board games, and spending time with her cat, Moby. In addition, Pastor Jamie and her fiancé Andy will be getting married in Columbus, Ohio, on October 29, 2023.
