The Ponderings of a Pedaling Pastor

Psalm 8:3

Day 29 of 90...started off the morning going to Safeway to pick up some items I was starting to run low on. Breakfast at McDonalds, then hit the road. This morning I passed through vast and rolling sheep and cattle grazing lands surrounded on both sides by the mountains, which led to Beaver’s Head Rock (a well known landmark for tribes and fur trappers). I stopped off in Sheridan for lunch at the Shovel & Spoon and had an amazing salad at an incredible price, and possibly the best lemonade I’ve ever tasted! The cottonwood trees really let loose today, as their white fluff was all over the road and blowing like snow. I decided to stop in Virginia City tonight, an old historical gold mining town turned tourist attraction. 58 miles and 1718 feet climbing. Psalm 8:3...”When I look at your heavens, the work of your hands, the moon and the stars that you have established; what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? 6 You have given them dominion over the work of your hands; you put all things under their feet, 7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the air and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
