The Ponderings of a Pedaling Pastor

Isaiah 40:31

Day 28 of 90... Cold cold morning in Wisdom, MT. Hurried up and went to the restaurant for coffee and breakfast. Rebecca and I rode the 18 miles to Jackson Hot Springs, where I said goodbye and continued on my journey. Rebecca is taking a rest day or two, so more than likely our journey together has finished. It was awesome riding with her a couple extra days with her positive energy. It was difficult to get the climbing legs going again after the challenging day yesterday, but I grunted it out over the first pass, and then had a slight tailwind going over the second pass of the day. The descents were fun... there was one section where I coasted for 4 1/2 miles straight without pedaling once! I thought I was going to get rained on all day, but the storms stayed on the other side of the mountain range. Made it to Dillon, MT in decent time. 67 miles and 2830 feet of climbing.
Isaiah 40:31 “ but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, the shall walk and not faint.”
