R & R

Day 24 of 90...Quinn, Rebecca and I all arrived in Missoula yesterday together. Quinn graciously offered for me to come up and join her and her family at their cabin in Bigfork, MT next to Flathead Lake for a couple days of R&R. So this morning I awoke in a king bed in a cabin all to myself. Quinn and her daughter Georgia have been so gracious and welcoming. Today has been a true day of rest. I dried out my camping gear, did some much needed laundry, rotated my front with my rear tire, took a nap with Greta (the German short-haired pointer), fussed on Eleanor “Bug” the half-blind cat, went to the grocery store and stocked up on some energy food, had a great talk with Mom & Dad, and caught up on emails. Bigfork is a beautiful community close to Glacier National Park...it’s a place I wouldn’t mind coming back to visit again (when I’m not on my bike!). In the evening we went to Quinn’s sister Colleen’s house (& her boyfriend Randy) for dinner, passing fields of canola to get there, and enjoying a local brewery (Sacred Waters) for a couple drinks. All in all it was a most excellent day of rest!
