Rivers in Idaho

Day 20 of 90...another incredible day of riding. 60 miles...headwind all day, but the first 30 was downhill along some amazing rivers. I feel so blessed to be next to the rivers that the salmon swim up every year to spawn. Idaho and it’s rivers are so amazingly beautiful, and I’ve been told I haven’t even reached the prettiest section yet! I stopped for lunch in Riggins and met an amazingly gracious couple RVing from Florida to see their family in Boise, John and Joanie Pickens. Small world story...John is from St. Mary’s, WV, 17 miles up river from Marietta. We had an awesome breakfast together visiting, talking faith and family, and genuinely enjoying each other’s company. Quinn joined us little into the meal and they welcomed her just as openly. Such incredible people in the world if we are only brave enough to strike up a conversation! The headwinds were manageable today with only 650 feet of climbing, so the last 30 miles weren’t unbearable. Spending the night in White Bird, Idaho. Posting a couple short videos separately.
